KELLOGG SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT GLOBAL HUB, NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY – Evanston, IL

The New Kellogg School of Management building is located on the Evanston lakefront campus. The new facility will provide a home for the full time Kellogg MBA program and the Department of Economics. It shall be approximately 400,000 square foot and serve 1,500 students, 200 + faculty and 150+ staff.  It shall include 17 classrooms, faculty offices and a 400-seat event space. It will have 5 floors plus a lower floor which has classrooms and parking and loading.   The project team will design the building to achieve a minimum LEED silver rating from the USGBC rating system.

The principals of S2O Consultants, Inc. were hired to plan and design the foodservice facilities. The full-service kitchen and servery were planned to accommodate the dining needs of up to 1,800 people, plus catering to meeting and classrooms throughout the building. In addition, there was a separate coffee shop/cafe. The kitchen and servery were designed to provide both self-service and served meals in a modern, open environment.
